We replaced this aged shingle roof by first demolishing the entire roofing system to allow for layers of GAF self-adhered membrane and synthetic underlayment on all penetrations, valleys, and the chimney. GAF starter shingle strips were supplied and installed on the eaves and rakes, along with drip edges on the perimeter, pipe and counter flashings on penetrations, sixty attic dormers, a roof access ladder, and a new gutter system. GAF Cool Roof shingles and Rapid Ridge caps in Golden Amber were installed, and a similar color was used to paint all flashings for a seamless finish.
